Hi there, nice to meet you

Here's my story

I’m an artist based in the tiny tropical country of Singapore. My love for art began at age 3 when I first watched "Art Attack" and asked my dad about the colorful paints. He bought me my first set of watercolors, a sketchpad, and some pencils, and from that moment on, art became a part of my life.

However, my relationship with art took a long pause during my teenage years as I dealt with anxiety, depression, and a sense of isolation within Singapore's rigorous academic culture. But at 18, after a particularly tough day, I impulsively stopped by the same shop where my dad had bought my first paints. I grabbed some cheap canvases, acrylics, and brushes, came home, and just painted. That moment reignited my passion and became a turning point for me.

Years later, with a degree in Fashion Design and Textiles, I was living the 9-to-5 life when I met my husband, who proudly called me an artist and encouraged me to sell my work on Etsy. When I sold my first painting, it was another pivotal moment. I realized that art could be more than just a hobby—it could be my life.

I quit my job, moved to Barcelona with my husband for two years, and truly discovered myself there. The city’s architecture, slow-living lifestyle, and everyday mundane moments inspired me  a lot. I felt calm and present. I could walk slower, feel more deeply, smell the air better, and appreciate life more fully. That's exactly what I want to translate into my paintings—a carefree world where your inner child is still alive, seeing things more vividly and joyfully. My work is full of bright colors, pastels, and carefree bold strokes and textures, which I hope will act as a portal to your happy place, wherever that might be.
